Privacy policy

Cryptaire is made by App Vault Incorporated ("we"). The short version: the app does not collect your data, and we cannot see your photos.

The Cryptaire app

• No account. The app has no sign-up, login, email or profile.
• Your photos stay on your phone. Photos you add are encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM, using keys protected by your pattern. They are not uploaded to us or to any server we run.
• We cannot unlock your vaults. We never receive your pattern or your keys. If you forget your pattern, we have no way to recover your photos.
• Photo library access. The app asks for access to your photos only so you can choose which ones to move into a vault. It reads only the photos you pick.
• Purchases. Payments are handled by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation that a purchase happened, not your payment details.

If we add optional features that involve a server, such as encrypted backup, we will update this policy before they ship and explain exactly what is sent and how it stays encrypted.

This website

• Early access list. If you join, we store your email address and which phone you use. We use it only to tell you when Cryptaire launches. We never sell or share it.
• Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
• No ad trackers. This site does not use advertising trackers or cookies.

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above.
