Encrypted photo vault for iPhone and Android

Hidden is not the same as encrypted.

Your phone's hidden album opens for anyone who knows your passcode. Cryptaire locks your private photos behind a pattern only you know, and encrypts them on your phone with AES-256.

How it works

1. Draw a pattern

Connect dots on a 5 by 5 grid. That is far more combinations than a 4-digit code, and it is not the same code that unlocks your phone.

2. Every pattern is its own vault

Draw a different pattern and you open a different vault. Cryptaire never lists your vaults, so nobody can tell how many you have.

3. Encrypted on your phone

Each vault has its own AES-256 key, locked by your pattern. Your photos never leave your phone and there is no server to hack.

Built for people who mean it

At launch

Auto-lock

Leave the app for a second and the vault locks itself. Decrypted photos only ever exist in memory.

At launch

No account, ever

No email, no sign-in, no profile. There is nothing about you on a server because there is no server.

In development

Decoy pattern

A pattern that opens a harmless vault if someone forces you to unlock it.

In development

Recovery phrase

Words that only you hold, so a forgotten pattern does not mean lost photos.

Questions

Can Cryptaire see my photos?

No. Your photos are encrypted on your phone with a key that only your pattern unlocks. We never receive them, and we could not open them if we did.

What happens if I forget my pattern?

Today, that vault stays locked for good. That is the price of real encryption with no backdoor. A recovery phrase is in development so you can get back in without giving anyone else a key.

Is it on Android too?

Yes. Cryptaire is built for iPhone and Android from day one.

When does it launch?

Soon. Join the early access list above and you'll be the first to know.
